Goldendoodles are a cross between a Poodle and a Golden retriever

American Labradoodles are a cross between a Labrador retriever and a Poodle

The names are a portmanteau of the two breeds.

Australian Labradoodles are a fusion of six breeds, Labrador Retriever, Poodle, English Cocker Spaniel, American Cocker Spaniel, Curly Coat Retriever and Irish Water Spaniel.

A Double Doodle is a cross between an two Doodles, in our case Labradoodle and Goldendoodle

Doodles are smart, friendly, empathetic, intuitive and gentle.  They have a medium energy level.

They do require grooming 3-4 times a year as low shed or no shed means their coat continues to grow, just like ours.

Doodles are healthy critters, but can have health issues.  Here at Doodle Tree Farm, we extensively test our breeding dogs prior to breeding for genetic traits, hip dysplasia, elbow and patella issues, and screen for eye abnormalities.  These test ensure that we have only bred from the best of the best, to provide you with your “Well Rounded Puppy”.

Despite our very best efforts to ensure healthy puppies, life does not provide a guarantee.  Therefore Doodle Tree Farm provides a 2yr genetic health guarantee with each puppy.

Doodle Tree Farm is happy to show all health certification to puppy applicants, prior to purchasing.

You may notice some letters under each dog picture. These are the genetic colours that are specific to each dog. We can then predict what colours can be produced with each pairing

Our Doodles come in three sizes

  1. Standard 50lbs and up

  2. Medium 36-50lbs

  3. Mini 26-35lbs

  4. Petite. 25lbs or less (please note we are unable to provide this size until around 2024)
